Samaaj Alankaran Samaaroh 2026

The Samaj Alankaran Samman, one of the highest honour for the members of Maheshwari Community, are proposed to be conferred during the MGC 2026, the mahakubh / adhiveshan of community - MGC 2026, that is organized once in every decade.

The Awards are proposed to be given in these categories:

Samaaj Ratna

For exceptional and distinguished community service and achievement

Samaaj Bhushan

For distinguished community service of higher order

Samaaj Gaurav

For distinguished service in any field of activity.

There ought to be an element of community service in the achievements of the person to be selected for these Awards taking into consideration the impact on community, country and...

Eligibility

Any Maheshwari without distinction of occupation, position or sex is eligible for these Awards. However, serving Government servants, including those working with PSUs, except Doctors and Scientists, are not eligible for these Awards.

The Award seeks to recognize works of distinction and is given for distinguished and exceptional achievements/service in all fields of activities/disciplines. An illustrative list of the fields is as under:

Includes social and charitable services

Nomination

Who can Nominate?

The nomination process is open to the public. Self-nomination can be made. Nomination from Jila Sabha / Pradesh Sabha / Mahasabha are also possible with necessary details as provided in the portal.

Nominations / Recommendations will be invited upto 15.11.2025

No. of Awardees

The total number of Awards in each category will be as recommended by the Jury, on the basis of the applications received.

Selection Process

All nominations/recommendations received for Awards are placed before the Samaaj Alankaran Samaaroh Committee... Communication regarding selection of candidature will be sent to the awardee personally.

Ceremony Details

The Awards are to be presented on Sunday, the 11th of January, 2026 (10:00 a.m.) during the Mahasabha Adhveshan – MGC, 2026 being held in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on 9-11 January, 2026.

While a Nomination/Application may have been filed for a select category, the Jury reserves the right to alter the award category as it deems appropriate, based on the details provided in the application.
